  • What makes AFEX unique?
    Thanks to TABA's pre-qualified and prestigious partners, distinguished business people from 42 different African countries will attend AFEX. You will have the chance to communicate, network and make business deals with business people from different sectors. More than 1500 African business people will attend this two-day event to explore new opportunities.

  • Which sectors will be represented at AFEX?
    AFEX will mainly host exhibitors from 10 sectors: Textile, Agriculture, Healthcare, IT, Machinery, Food & FMCG, Automotive, Education, Furniture. However, as actors in the African market tend to operate and invest in several different sectors, there will potentially be participation from 15 different sectors.   • How many buyers from my sector will attend AFEX?
    For each of the 5 main sectors mentioned above, a minimum of 150 buyers will attend. A minimum of 50 buyers from the other 5 sectors will attend. Regarding the sub-sectors specific to your field, we can provide exact information and details 4 weeks before the event. You can contact us at support@afextr.com for this.
  • Why is our expo multi-sectoral?
    African business people tend to operate and invest in different sectors. AFEX is designed to meet the needs of exhibitors. AFEX meets the business habits of the region while maintaining quality and authenticity.
  • Why is the exhibition organized in Istanbul and not in a city in Africa?
    Istanbul is a global center for international trade. Specifically in relation to Africa, Istanbul is the hub of 67 direct flights to and from African destinations and more than 380 international flights, making it the most convenient location for this type of event. As a testament to its privileged location, Istanbul is home to the African operations center of thousands of international companies.
  • How qualified are the buyers attending the expo?
    TABA has 12 years of corporate experience in various international institutions and organizations. Thanks to these contacts and agreements with prestigious chambers of commerce and commissions, TABA has a portfolio of distinguished business people. Thus, qualified buyers from 42 different African countries will be attending AFEX.
  • Which countries will the buyers come from?
    Buyers and investors from 42 African countries and a total of 66 countries worldwide will attend AFEX.
  • Can all participants attend the B2B meetings?
    Yes. All exhibitors are welcome to meet at a B2B table. Please contact us via b2b@afextr.com for more information.
  • What will be the topics of the conferences? Who are the speakers?
    A variety of topics and discussions will be covered at AFEX, including but not limited to food security; intra-African logistics; sustainable cities; renewable energy sources; water security and irrigation; Africa's manufacturing capacity; cultural diplomacy and international trade. Experts and distinguished business leaders will lead these sessions. More details will be announced soon.
  • Is AFEX the first event organized by your organization or have other events been organized in the past?
    The organizing organization TABA has successfully organized more than 200 international events to date. 5 of them were similar to AFEX, although focused on politicians, diplomats and government officials. AFEX rebrands previous TABA events with a business-oriented perspective. Details of past events can be found at www.turkishafrican.org. The first event under the AFEX brand was organized in 2023.
  • How do I register?
    You can register at https://www.afextr.com/plans-pricing. If you would like to exhibit or sponsor an exhibition stand, please contact us at info@afextr.com.
  • How can I get an invitation?

    You will receive your invitation after contacting the local representative in your country or after completing the online registration procedure.
  • Do I need a visa? If so, what should I do next?
    The visa process depends on your country. You can find more information about it after your registration is complete.
  • I have registered what do I do next?
    If you have completed your registration form but have not been contacted, please send an email to info@afextr.com to check your status.
  • How can I bring samples/catalogs/promotional materials to AFEX?

    To avoid lengthy and expensive customs clearance, we recommend that you bring these materials with your luggage. Otherwise, you can ship the items after contacting us.
  • Is it possible to address the entire exhibition audience?
    To reach this exclusive and international audience, you should explore sponsorship packages.
